What is VENOROL 100?

VENOROL 100 is an opacifier used to improve the appearance of a formulation:

• Anionic system.
• High levels of Inorganic electrolytes.
• Broad pH range such as Toilet & Drain cleaners.

Description of VENOROL 100:

Styrene acrylate polymer in aqueous emulsion that modifies the appearance of formulations through efficient light scattering.
INCI Name: Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer

Advantages of using VENOROL 100:

• Superior Opacifying Power, enhancing the visual aspect of formulations by efficiently scattering light.
• Creates a Translucent to Milky or Lotion-Like Look, delivering consistent opacity in formulations based on anionic systems.
• Suitable for Use in Cleaning Products, including toilet bowl cleaners and drain maintenance solutions designed to eliminate clogs and unpleasant odors.
• Delivers Effective Results at Low Dosage Levels (ranging from 0.1% to 1%).
• Recommended for Acidic Liquid Formulations, compatible with systems containing up to 20% of 35% hydrochloric acid (equivalent to 7% active HCl content).
• Highly Compatible and Stable Across Various Formulations.

Compatibility Testing:

Opacifiers offer excellent opacifying performance and maintain stability across a broad range of formulations. However, it is essential to conduct compatibility tests at the laboratory scale before moving forward to full-scale production.

Indorama provides a fully equipped laboratory and experienced technical staff to carry out these evaluations and confirm formulation stability.

Stability Testing Conditions:

Formulations containing opacifiers are subjected to the following conditions for stability assessment:

• Temperature testing over 4 weeks at 5°C, 25°C, and 45°C
• Centrifugation testing (conducted in specific cases)
